The remake of highly-appreciated seat entertainer that hold the spectators’s attention till the end is ready to hit the big screen with ‘Ittefaq’.  This movie is a remake of Rajesh Khanna and Nanda  starrer ‘Ittefaq’ (1969). The original movie was directed by Yash Chopra. This remake stars Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles.

Both Sidharth Malhotra and the dabangg girl have huge fan following. The trailer of this movie has been viewed over 11 million times in a single day on Facebook and Youtube. After seeing the trailer, it can be said that the story is very intriguing which shows two perspectives. Beyond doubt, the trailer of this murder-mystery is leaving the audience in a state of wonder.

Co-produced by Red chillies entertainment, BR Studios and Dharma, the story will not imitate the original movie as it will have a different twist in a bid to retain suspense to the next level.

The story of this thriller revolves around a night when a man is murdered, and both Sonakshi and Sidharth are the suspects. Akshaye plays the role of an adamant police who will be seen working his socks off to find the truth.

The original Ittefaq starring Rajesh Khanna, Nanda, Madan Puri, and Bindu is considered to be one of the masterpieces by Yash Chopra which had made a mark in Bollywood with the best mystery movie of that time.  And definitely, it’s going to be interesting to witness all the more different twist in this remake.

While Sidharth plays Rajesh Khanna’s role, Sonakshi will be essaying the role of Nanda and Akshaye Khanna will be playing Madam Puri’s character.

This double-murder story has only two witnesses who are also the prime suspects. Vikram Sethi (Sidharth Malhotra) and a well-known writer Maya (Sonakshi Sinha) project different narratives that baffles the events to Dev (Akshaye Khanna). However, both the stories seem to be true, there can be one and only truth. Dev is left gasping for the two versions of the story whilst finding the real culprit.
